In this digital era of using stamped out, milled crowns and veneers developed from virtual libraries in software programs, we pride ourselves with fabricating all of our crowns in our in-house laboratory using custom, internal shading, anatomic form to match each individual facial pattern, and proper translucency that is specific to each patient’s coloring. As a result, we consistently provide crowns and veneers that have a great look with an unsurpassed fit that lasts over thirty years (3X the national average).

The Challenge

In this example, we worked with a very pretty young lady who had a severely worn dentition and an overclosed bite. Her teeth had been worn down from grinding, improper bite relationships, or other factors that compromised both her smile’s appearance and her oral function. The combination of severe wear and poor bite alignment had aged her appearance significantly beyond her actual years. She was self-conscious about her smile and worried about the structural integrity of her damaged teeth.

Our Approach

With natural-looking custom-crafted crowns, we were able to make this patient simply radiant. Rather than using milled crowns from software libraries, we hand-crafted her restorations using internal shading techniques and multiple translucent porcelains to match her unique coloring and facial features. This personalized approach ensured that her new crowns would look indistinguishable from natural teeth.
